About the Rotary Club of St. Catharines
For more than 100 years, the Rotary Club of St. Catharines has lived the motto Service Above Self — turning local volunteer energy into meaningful impact at home and around the world.
Founded on May 1, 1921, we are the largest Rotary club in the Niagara Region, with approximately 85 members who give their time, skills, and resources to support causes that matter.
Each year, three signature fundraisers raise more than $130,000 to fuel our community work:
- Rotary Auction Niagara — last weekend in November
- Rotary Ribfest at Montebello Park — Civic Holiday Weekend
- Rotary Golf Tournament — May/June
These events fund projects across St. Catharines and partner initiatives around the world.
Join Us
We meet every Thursday at noon — 1st, 2nd, and 4th Thursdays at the Dalhousie Yacht Club, with fellowship night on the 3rd Thursday. Each meeting includes lunch, conversation, and an engaging guest speaker.
Visitors and prospective members are always welcome. Because meals are arranged in advance, please contact us by noon on the Tuesday before the meeting so we can reserve your spot.
